ASSISTANT TOWNSHIP MANAGER — East Cocalico Township is hiring an experienced leader to serve as its Assistant Township Manager. The Assistant Township Manager will work closely with the Township Manager to manage day-to-day operations. Preferred candidates will possess (1) three or more years of substantive experience in local government; (2) a solid understanding of modern local government management principles; (3) strong financial and budgeting skills; (4) a proven ability to prepare successful grant applications and to effectively manage complex grant projects; and, (5) exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. A bachelor’s degree is required, and a master’s degree in public or business administration is preferred. A competitive starting salary is based on experience and qualifications. FINANCE DIRECTOR — East Cocalico Township is hiring an experienced leader to serve as its Finance Director. The Township has 2024 Budget receipts at approximately $8m, and is financially stable. The Finance Director will administer all financial activities, including payroll, record keeping, payment of expenses, recording of revenue, managing of insurances, financial reporting, and will assist with personnel management. Preferred candidates will possess (1) an associates or bachelor's degree; (2) minimum of five years accounting/finance experience, preferably in government; (3) excellent computer aptitude and software skills; and (4) exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. PUBLIC WORKS LABORER East Cocalico Township is hiring a full-time Laborer to join our Public Works team. This position works to properly maintain and improve local roadways, storm sewer facilities, parks and other Township-owned facilities and equipment.  This position likewise plows snow, and assists with a variety of special projects. Candidates must possess public works, construction or similar experience, have a CDL or obtain this license within six months of employment, and be at least 18 years old.  Strong carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and/or heavy operating equipment experience is preferred. East Cocalico Township offers a competitive salary and an exceptional benefits package.
